It has been proposed to place a visitor's center in Maybeury, WV on U.S. Route 52 which borders Mercer County. It is projected that 140,000 cars per month pass through Maybeury and a visitor's center would help direct people to points of interest. We will keep you posted on the progress of this exciting new development for tourism in McDowell County.
